Jeffrey Luffman is a versatile and dynamic professional who has achieved excellence in a variety of facets — both personally and professionally. Luffman is a Published Children’s Author, Former Military Leader and current MPA Candidate.
Education & Academic Excellence
Jeffrey Luffman is committed to achieving academic excellence. Always seeking to improve himself and expand his repertoire, Luffman actively seeks out new and traditional learning opportunities. Luffman is a current MPA Candidate and aspiring PhD Candidate. He maintains his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health and Physical Education from Cameron University, which he earned in 2006 with Cum Laude designation. More recently, Luffman has set his sights on applying his military leadership prowess to a career making positive changes in the public sector. This shift (although appropriately related to his former military leadership experience) has guided Luffman to an accelerated Master’s degree (MPA) program at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. Luffman strives to make his mark as a Non-Profit Public Administrator; and he’s already well on his way! In his pursuit of a Master of Public Administration, Luffman has stood as the President and then Treasurer of Triton Vets Student Veterans of America Organization.
Jeffrey Luffman maintains the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health & Physical Education — Cameron University
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Public Policy Administration — University of Missouri-Saint Louis
Jeffrey Luffman is currently in pursuit of receiving his Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. He looks forward to applying for a PhD in Political Science. This is the natural next course of action for Luffman, who has received the UMSL Martin Luther King Jr Award in recognition of his academic excellence and commitment to community service.

US Army Veteran
Jeffrey Luffman is a Former Military Leader who served in the United States Army from 1996 to 2018. Luffman achieved the rank of Captain and served as a Noncommissioned Logistician. The US Army Veteran also received seven different military awards, including:
- The Bronze Star Award
- The Meritorious Service Medal
- Army Achievement Medals
- Six Army Commendation Medal
- Good Conduct Medals
- The Operation Iraqi Freedom Campaign Award
- The Kosovo Campaign Medal
Although Jeffrey Luffman is now a 100% Combat Service-Connected Disabled Veteran today, he continues to view his commitment to the United States Military as lifelong. With that perspective in mind, the former military leader is actively involved in volunteering with local veteran service organizations, such as the Kaufman Fund, the Disabled American Veterans, the Missouri Veteran Commission and the Saint Louis County Board of Elections. These engagements have deepened his understanding of the needs of the veteran community, who he aspires to positively impact in his commitment to public service.
